Ocean Rhapsody

  "Ocean Rhapsody" is a celebration of the natural world, a symphony of color and texture that echoes the boundless energy of the ocean.   The foundation of "Ocean Rhapsody" is built upon a raw cotton of acrylic-painted seascapes, each brushstroke carefully crafted to emulate the ebb and flow of ocean waves. Inspired by the movement of the ocean's surface, these painted scenes evoke a sense of fluidity and motion, with colors ranging from deep indigo to brilliant blue, beside touch of greens.

  But it is in the collage and quilting process that "Ocean Rhapsody" truly comes alive. Randomly cut-out pieces of the acrylic-painted seascapes are gathered together and meticulously stitched to create a sense of depth and dimension of the sea itself.
